In partnership with Seattle Housing Authority’s South Seattle Summer Internship, a supporting grant for the mural creation from King County Parks’ Healthy Communities, Healthy Parks Fund and additional support from Seattle Parks & Recreation & Arts and Culture for park activation and community engagement with Seattle Arts in Parks grant to represent our neighbors with love and appreciation on Othello Park’s Comfort Station. Twelve NewHolly teens worked with SE Seattle Artist Leaders to create art this summer and helped address issues with crossing Othello St nearby, fix the water fountain in the park and help park users know how to report issues they find in the park.
